An India Drive, Trion resident called the sheriff’s department earlier this week after someone tossed a firework at his home.

The complainant told a responding deputy that he was sitting outside his house in a covered area beside his home.  Also, his wife and teenage daughter a female friend of his daughter were with him when someone in a small, dark vehicle pulled past the residence.  The complainant said that someone lit something that appeared to be a fuse and tossed the object toward the front of the home. The device exploded near the front porch of the residence.

The complainant jumped in his vehicle and tried to find the vehicle but was unsuccessful.
