The faculty and staff of Summerville Middle School are planning an alternative ceremony for the 8th Grade Top-Ten students.

The students have worked hard to keep their GPA’s up all three years at Summerville Middle School to achieve the Top Ten status.  Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the school was unable to honor the students with a banquet.

In lieu of the banquet, the top-two students will be able to give their speeches during a video call at 9 AM on Tuesday, June 23rd.  After the video call, faculty and staff will emabrk on a motorcade to each Top Ten student’s home with a special gift and a yard sign showcasing their achievement.

The Top Ten students are : Kadence Hayes, Cathanaa Nix, Cheyanne Blackmon, Joie Nance, Kalysia Roberts, Daniela Gonzalez, Jonathan Stokes, Brenda Lopez, E’Nivea London and Cristian Nieves.
