A runoff election in the Republican Primary will be held on August 11th.  Absentee ballots are being issued now according to the Chattooga County Registrar Office.

Approximately 745 voters will automatically receive a ballot for the runoff without making another application.   These are voters who received a Republican ballot in June, did not cancel their absentee by mail ballot, and selected either Disabled, Elderly, or military on their absentee application.
Voters who voted Non-Partisan in June are also eligible to vote in August.  For the most part, if you did not vote in the June Primary, you can vote in the runoff.  There are exceptions for voters who have had their registration cancelled due to being convicted of a felony, declared mentally incompetent or voters who have moved out of the county or state.
Advance Voting for the Primary Runoff Election is July 20-August 7.  Election day is August 11.  Again, absentee by mail is taking place now.
