Late last week, Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Summerville reported a part-time worker had tested positive for COVID-19.  However, a nursing facility in Dalton has seen a spike in cases over the past few days.

WDEF in Chattanooga reported yesterday that Ridgewood Manor says 42 of their residents have now tested positive and six have died.  19 staff members have also tested positive.

Another Northwest Georgia nursing home has reported even more cases. Pruitt Healthcare in Fort Ogelthorpe says 80 patient cases, 37 staff cases, 10 deaths and 26 have recovered.

Reno Lambert, administrator at Oakview, told WZQZ News that no residents at the long-term care facility have tested positive for COVID-19.
