Chattooga County Probate Judge Jon Payne says he has tested positive for COVID-19. Commissioner Jason Winters issued the following statement.

With several additional confirmed COVID-19 cases of Courthouse employees, the Chattooga County Courthouse and Courthouse Annex will work with limited access until further notice. Some offices may be closed at various times for cleaning. Please contact directly the office you are needing to conduct business with prior to arriving at the Courthouse.
