A Summerville woman reported a stolen vehicle last week.  The complainant said that the vehicle was in a vacant lot on Blake Street when it was taken.

Kathy Pierce told a responding officer that she had moved from a house on Blake Street to a new location and had left a 2000 Volkswagen Passant in the empty lot because it wasn’t running.  When she came back to retrieve the vehicle, it was gone.

She said that the vehicle was taken sometime between Thursday and Friday of last week.

The incident is under investigation.
