According to the Chattooga County Registrars Office, more people have voted early in the August 11th GOP Runoff Election than voted early in the June 9th Primary Election.

As of 5 PM on Thursday, 1,379 people had voted early.

Today is the last day to vote in advance of the August 11th Runoff Election.  If you want to vote early, be sure to get to the Registrars Office at 10017 Commerce Street before 5 PM today.  Be sure to bring a picture ID when you come to vote.

Remember, if you voted in the Republican Primary in June – or you didn’t vote at all, you can vote in the Runoff Election.

Polls will be open next Tuesday from 7 AM until 7 PM for the Runoff Election.
