The deadline to sign your child up for fall sports at the Summerville Recreation Center is today!

The recreation center was closed back in July due to the COVID-19 pandemic after several staff members either tested positive, or showed symptoms of the coronavirus.

Recreation officials say that the buildings have been thoroughly cleaned, and daily cleaning continues.

Since there was an interruption during sign-up time due to the pandemic, the deadline was extended until today.  The Recreation Department will be open until 7 PM this evening.

The public is asked to abide by social-distancing guidelines while visiting the Summerville Recreation Center.
