Chattooga Skies: an artist’s pandemic art project released for sale on Amazon recently.
Chattooga County Native and Artist, Jordan Poole, hiked local trails twice daily taking breathtaking photographs during times of national quarantine. His collection of images have been shared on social media and enjoyed globally as many were shut in unable to see sunrises or sunsets of which the images provides showcasing the natural beauty of Chattooga County. “I found that many people across the nation needed an image of god’s beauty in these troubled times and my photographs seem to provide comfort for so many,” Said Poole. Mr Poole was former Executive Director of Paradise Garden, famed site of Artist, Howard Finster before leaving Chattooga County for work in France.

In April of 2020, with a pandemic causing many to stay indoors, an artist returned home to the rural mountains of Chattooga County, Georgia, and began taking daily hikes and photos. The images from these hikes became an internet sensation giving many who were shut an outlet to nature they did not have.
