Summerville Police have dealt with several reports of theft on Monday of this week.

A homeowner on East Washington Street reported the theft of three string trimmers on Monday of this week.  A Stihl, a Husqvarna and a Homelite trimmer were all stolen.  The three items were valued at over $650.  The homeowner was able to provide the name of a suspect to police.

A lady living in a Marvin Avenue apartment told police on Monday that she suspected her housekeeper had stolen a ring.  The complainant said that she had left the ring on the edge of a sink and after the housekeeper left, the ring was missing.

Also on Monday, a homeowner on Bittings Avenue reported a stolen bicycle.  The homeowner said that the bike was stolen off his porch sometime after midnight.

All of the incidents were turned over to an investigator.
