A Walker County K-9 unity deputy was severely injured on Monday when the K-9 he was training, turned on him and bit him multiple times.

Deputy Harley Elliot was taken to the hospital for immediate surgery to the wounds.  Reports say that Deputy Elliot received twenty-one puncture wounds from the dog bites.  Deputy Elliot has quite a few damaged tendons and nerves in his arms and hands.
