Due to a problem with the postal service, the City of Menlo has announced that they will wave the fees on late water bills for the month of September.

The following statement was issued on Wednesday:

The City of Menlo mailed the September water bills on October 1. They are apparently tied up somewhere between Menlo and Tennessee. Due to this delay late charges will be extended. If a Menlo water customer wishes to know the amount of his/her bill he can call City Hall at 706-862-2440. The facility is still using the drop box for payments due to the COVID. The City apologizes for any inconveniences due to this delay.
