Carpenters for Christ is a nation-wide group of volunteers who donate their time and labor to help out local churches across the United States and beyond.  An area church will be getting a new fellowship hall, thanks in part to Carpenters for Christ.

Chesterfield Baptist Church is a rural church located on Jamestown Road, just south of the Chattooga County line in Cherokee County, Alabama.  The Jamestown area church has worshipers from both Cherokee County and Chattooga County and has been active in the community for many years.

From Thursday, October 15th until Saturday, October 17th, the Carpenters for Christ will be helping to build a new fellowship hall at Chesterfield Church.

Anyone who can donate time and labor is welcome to bring a hammer and enjoy fellowship with Carpenters for Christ.
