Summerville Police responded to a call from a local business owner last week after it was discovered that someone had stolen the catalytic converters off of the business’s delivery truck.

Officers spoke with the owner of Southern Bedding, Brad Spears, who said that sometime between the evening of Wednesday, October 21st and the morning of Thursday, October 22nd, someone stole the parts off the 2009 Isuzu delivery truck.

Police say that it appears a saw was used to cut the catalytic converters and the cuts were fresh.

The incident is under investigation by the Summerville Police Department.
