
Chattooga County School Supt. Jared Hosmer has made the decision to have a “virtual learning day” for Thursday in light of the Tropical Storm Warning that is in place for Chattooga County and Northwest Georgia.
In a release Wednesday afternoon, Supt. Hosmer stated:
Due to the forecasted bad weather for tomorrow, Chattooga County Schools will enact a “Virtual School Day” for all students and staff on October 29, 2020. Please refer to the Virtual Handbook Reference Guide that was provided at the beginning of this school year to all students. Please see the attached letter concerning short term closures.
All after school activities for tomorrow, October 29, 2020, will be determined by 1:00 pm tomorrow.
