Chattooga County and the town of Lyerly, City of Menlo, City of Summerville and Town of Trion have joined together  to complete a joint Comprehensive Plan.

Comprehensive planning is an important management tool for promoting a strong and healthy community.  The planning process emphasizes preparation of plans that help local governments address their immediate needs and opportunities while moving toward the realization of their long-term goals.

This plan will help guide growth and development within Chattooga County over the next five years.
