Appearing on CNN on Monday morning, Georgia’s Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan says that there are no examples of fraud or irregularity in Georgia’s voting. 

Duncan is one of the first high-profile Republicans in the state to speak out about the claims by President Trump that widespread voter fraud will cost him Georgia’s electoral votes.  Georgia’s Secretary of State has promised a recount as former Vice-President Biden appears to be leading in the statewide county.

Lt. Governor Duncan seems to be distancing himself from other Republicans in the state like State Senator Jeff Mullis who issued a statement last week citing what he said were election irregularities in Fulton and Chatham Counties.  Mullis said in a press release, “In the immediate future, I will be coordinating with my colleagues to evaluate options to remedy this corruption and ensure President Trump’s campaign is treated fairly. I will not stand for this lawlessness by the far left.”

Yesterday, it was announced that former U.S. Senate Candidate Doug Collins will lead the recount effort in Georgia for President Trump’s team.

Biden has secured enough electoral votes to win the election, but President Trump is vowing to fight the election returns with recounts and court challenges.
