The Chattooga County Historical Society’s new Christmas ornament is now available.

The Riegeldale Tavern is the third in the annual series highlighting Chattooga County historical and scenic places.

The first year the Historical Society commemorated the 100th birthday of the depot. The second year they featured the 111-year-old Chattooga County Courthouse.

The Tavern, built in 1936, has been the scene of many dinners, weddings and reunions for generations of Chattoogans. The ornaments are on sale NOW at the city hall in Summerville and Sweet Pea’s at the Tavern. They are also available online at www.chattoogahistory.org , then click on Store.
