There are quite a few businesses that will be closed today due to the Thanksgiving Holiday.  Of course, government offices, banks and the post office will be closed, but if you need some last minute items for your Turkey Day celebration, you still have some options.

Walmart will be closed today.  They announced back in the summer that they would be closing today to give their employees the holiday with their families.  But, you can still go to Dollar General Stores.  According to Dollar General’s website, their stores in Chattooga County will be open from 7 AM until 5 PM.

If a grocery store is what you’re looking for, you will need to get to Ingles in Summerville before they close at 4 PM this afternoon; or you can go to Lucky’s in Menlo before 2 PM.  United Grocery is closed all day today.

According to their web site, CVS in Summerville will be open from 8 AM until 9 PM today, but the pharmacy will be closing at 2 PM.
