Remedium, along with Helping Hands Ending Hunger have partnered with the Chattooga County Chamber of Commerce to distribute a second trailer of winter goodies to local residents.

The delivery, which included items like blankets, bedding, clothing, medical supplies, and possibly a few Christmas gifts, will be distributed by the Chamber of Commerce. Volunteers will be helping to hand out the goodies. Trion City Schools Boys and Girls basketball teams have committed to day to help organize and inventory the items received.

In addition to Remedium Life Science of Georgia, support from Chattooga Resource Center, Boy’s and Girl’s Club, Trion Lions Club, Family Connections have made this possible. They will ensure that items will reach many families in need.

The distribution schedule is as follows:

December 10th:

10 am-4pm: Chattooga County Students who are served through Helping Hands, will be able to “shop” for Christmas. School counselors/administrators will also be able to select items for their students and families in need.

December 11th:

8-10am: Foster Parents will shop for their families.

10am-2pm: Community groups, including the Boy’s and Girl’s Club, will select goods for programming and distribute to their families/organizations.

December 12th:

9am-11am: Remaining items will be distributed to families in need through the communit
