Per Tax Commissioner Joy Hampton, tax collection this year is ahead of prior years.

So far, the Chattooga County Tax Office have collected 84% of 2020 taxes. They have also collected 98% of taxes that were due in 2019.

Taxes were due starting on December 1st of this year, and can be paid in office, via the drop box, or online. To pay online please visit  www.chattoogacountygatax.com/taxes.  When you log on you will see a disclaimer that you must “accept” and then you can search for your property tax bill and pay online.
