Summerville Police Officers responded late last week to a theft on Orchard Road.

On December 8th, Summerville Officers were dispatched to a home on Orchard Road in regards to a theft. At the residence Officers met with Dodie Daniel who stated that a hydraulic log splitter had been taken by a persons unknown. Along with the log splitter, solar lights had also been stolen and a Crape Myrtle tree had been damaged.

The log splitter was valued at $800 and the solar lights were valued at $50.
