Despite the Georgia DOT suspending road work on other highways, roadwork continues on Taylor Ridge.

The work will take place between  9 AM until 2:30 PM on Tuesday, according to the DOT.

Continuing the closures that started last Saturday, the GaDOT states that with weather permitting, crews will close a portion of Taylors Ridge. Tuesday is the scheduled last day for the closures.

The Georgia DOT says to expect pilot vehicles from Kirby Hollow Road on the west side of the ridge and from John Jones Road on the east side of the ridge.

Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones.
