The Summerville Police Department is requesting any information regarding an arrow that was shot through a window at a residence in the area of Roseway Circle over the weekend.

WZQZ News spoke with the homeowner who said that the incident happened around 10 PM.  The arrow went through a window in a bedroom of the house.  No one was in the bedroom at the time.  The homeowner tells WZQZ that there are often a lot of deer that are in the yard, and he suspects someone driving by shot the arrow, hoping to get a deer.

The Summerville Police were called to investigate.  Police called in a ranger from the Department of Natural Resources to look at the arrow.  The DNR Ranger said that the arrow was from a crossbow and had traces of deer hair and blood on it.

Police are working with the DNR to determine who the arrow belongs too.
