Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force (LMJCD) Commander Caine Railey says that he will lead the multi-county drug task force with the same vision as late Commander Patrick Doyle.

Railey made the comments to The Summerville News this week saying, “I learned from Patrick Doyle.  I am just going to carry on with what he did.”  Commander Doyle, who passed away in December of 2018, led the Drug Task Force for many years.  The LMJCD serves Chattooga, Walker and Dade Counties.

After the passing of Doyle, the Drug Task Force board of directors named Dewayne Brown Commander.  Earlier this year, in September, the board requested Brown step down as commander citing that they weren’t happy with some of the decisions that were being made for the drug task force.

The Drug Task Force is made up of Chattooga, Walker and Dade Counties along with The Town of Trion Police Department and the City of LaFayette Police Department.  Each of the departments have representatives that sit on the board of directors for the drug task force.

Railey was named commander by the board of the LMJCD earlier this month.
