
An intoxicated driver was arrested on Christmas night by Summerville Police.
On Christmas night Officers were alerted that a Ford Ranger truck that had been involved in a domestic dispute and had a possible intoxicated driver, had just passed them on Highway 114 near Chattooga High School. Officers followed the vehicle and after having the tag come back as expired, performed a traffic stop. The driver of the pickup, Michael Busby was emitting an odor of alcohol and Mr. Busby consented to a portable Alco-Sensor test. The test result showed positive for alcohol at which time Mr. Busby was read the Implied Consent for subjects over 21 and placed under arrest. Mr. Busby also consented for a blood draw for alcohol and after having that done, was transported to the County Jail. Gills towing was called to pickup the Ford Ranger.
