Over the past weekend, a LaFayette man was arrested after his dog attacked a pedestrian.
According to reports, the victim was walking down the public sidewalk when a dog belonging to sixty-three-year-old Joe Glenn Moses of North Chattanooga Street, attacked the pedestrian.
The man being attacked by the dog called out to the homeowner to restrain the dog who was attacking him on public space. Instead of calling off the dog, police say Moses became “enraged” and began yelling racial slurs at the pedestrian.
Moses was charged with failure to restrain his animal, simple battery, disorderly conduct and obstruction of police officers.
