Tornados that touched down on New Years Day made Georgia History.

Three tornados touched down in Crawford and Monroe Counties on New Years Day. These storm systems caused some unknown property damage, even flipping one mobile home on its side, but thankfully no injuries or loss of life has been reported. According to The Storm Prediction center archives, there is not a recorded tornado on New Years Day in Georgia.
