The results are in and the Republicans are out, at least in Georgia.
Democratic candidates Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock have won their respective Senate Seats in a closely watched race. These victories give President-elect Joe Biden and the Democrats control of the Senate with Vice President Kamala Harris as the tie breaking vote.
This close race was called as protestors at the White House seemed to escalate calling the Presidential election “stolen” while the electoral votes were being counted. The Mayor of D.C imposed a 6 p.m. curfew yesterday as President Trump called for the protestors to go home despite the election results.
Ossoff defeated David Perdue and Warnock defeated Kelly Loeffler for Senate.
