Chattooga County Sheriff Deputies responded to a call of loitering and prowling earlier this week.

On Monday, Deputies responded to a residence on Old Highway 27 where a complainant wanted to make a report regarding his ex-wife. Officers met with Mr. Tony Wyatt who wished to file a report regarding his ex-wife Amanda Brooke Wyatt. Mr. Wyatt had allowed his ex-wife to stay the night at his house, and afterward he noticed that she had messed with his security camera system on his residence.

When asked to describe what he meant by “messed with”, Mr. Wyatt explained that Mrs. Wyatt had went into his security system and changed all video recordings, both live and pre-recorded to go to her phone instead of his. Nothing else was noted as missing, but due to this the security system would be down for at least a day before it could be fixed back to his phone.

Mr. Wyatt asked for a report to be placed on file in case he does discover something missing. Deputies also advised that they would have extra patrol near his residence during night time hours.
