Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Greene, who represents Chattooga County and Northwest Georgia in Congress, released a statement concerning the violence in Washington D.C. last week.

While she admitted in the statement that supporters of President Trump were involved in the breach of the Capitol; she also says that the left-wing group “Antifa” were also involved in the incident.
Greene said in a prepared statement, “Yes, Antifa was involved but there were also Trump supporters involved as well. I denounce the violence that happened at the capitol. It was terrifying and it shouldn’t have happened because it truly derailed our objection efforts and it put an ugly stain on what MAGA (Make America Great Again) means.
Several pro-Trump supporters have been arrested in recent days in connection with the violence in Washington D.C. Congresswoman Greene did not offer any proof that Antifa was involved other than to say that she was there when it happened, and “knows that Antifa was present.”
Greene concluded her statement by saying, “I want to say this very clearly. Make America Great Again, President Trump, and the America First agenda are the greatest things to happen in my lifetime to this country and what happened on Wednesday at the Capitol does nothing to change that. President Trump’s accomplishments to America stand.”
