A barking dog caused a verbal domestic dispute between neighbors late last week.

Summerville Police Officers responded to a call last week of a disturbance due to a barking dog on Sturdivent Dr. Officers spoke with the complainant who stated that the neighbors dog had been barking and it was causing an issue.
Officers went to speak to the neighbor, Mr, Chad Campbell who stated that he had a verbal agreement with his neighbors to put the dog up at 9p.m. but that he would go ahead and put the dog up as not to cause issues.
Officers then left, and not long after was called back due to a verbal dispute at the same addresses. Upon arriving officers found the neighbors in a yelling match. Both parties stated that the other had started the verbal argument and at one point a gun had been brandished.
Officers discovered that this was an ongoing issue between the neighbors and escorted each party back into their respective houses. The Officers then went back into service.
