The Lookout Mountain Children’s Advocacy Center is in need of approximately 200 gently used or new medium size stuffed animals to use for a display for Child Abuse Awareness month in April.
In 2020 the Advocacy Center conducted 260 forensic interviews and would like 1 animal to represent each child seen at the center last year.
These new animals will be used to give to each child the advocacy center sees this year as a reminder they are not alone.
Chattooga County Sheriff Mark Schrader says that stuffed animals can be dropped off at the sheriff’s office on West Washington Street in Summerville this week.
