Commissioner Elsberry announced today that he will announce the new Public Works Director next week, instead of this one.

Initially to have been announced this Friday, February 19th, the county won’t know who the newest employee is until this coming Tuesday now.

WZQZ reached back out to Commissioner Elsberrys’ office about the delay, but have not been told the reasoning.

The announcement will be made at the scheduled Tuesday morning, media meetings. These meetings are held at 10 a.m. every Tuesday at the Commissioners office.
