Commission Elsberry has released a statement regarding the passing of local lawyer, Bobby Lee Cooks passing.

The statement read:

I was sadden to hear of the passing of Mr. Bobby Lee Cook this morning. While I did not personally know Mr. Cook, he leaves behind a lasting legacy  in Chattooga County and the great state of Georgia. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family during this difficult time.
