Early last week, Chattooga County Sheriff Deputies responded to a call regarding 2 cell phones being reported as stolen.

According to reports, Deputies spoke with Jason Cash who states that he bought a former employee, Billy Stephens two cell phones. These cell phones were bought for Stephens while he was employed by Cash with the stipulation that the phones would be returned if Stephens terminated his employment.

According to Cash, Stephens no longer works for him and he is refusing to return the cell phones. Not only is Stephens refusing to return the 2 phones, he has also made threats to destroy both phones instead.

Deputies turned the case over to Investigator Flood, who went to meet with Jason Cash to listen to the recordings regarding the threats.

This case is still active.
