A Chattooga County Resident was charged with Criminal Trespass Damage after damaging a repossessed vehicle.

On February 22nd, Chattooga County Deputies meet with Robert Lackey, who explained that a recently repossessed Toyota Prius had been damaged after arriving on the lot.

The Pruis had been picked up on Bellah Ave in Summerville, due to a failure of payments and was towed to Courtesy Finance in Rome. Trevor Wagner, the previous owner of the car, notified Lackey that he would be removing some personal items from the car with a key he possessed.

The following day Lackey noticed damage that the Pruis did not initially have. After speaking to Wagner, it was determined that Trevor Wagner damaged the car when he retrieved his personal items at the car lot. Wagner agreed to pay all damages and Lackey has asked his corporate office about pressing charges.
