A Northwest Georgia woman’s case was among dozens of potential election violations sent to prosecutors this week.  According to a report from WTVC in Chattanooga:

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger announced nearly 80 new cases are among this third batch sent to the attorney general or local district attorneys on Wednesday.

The list includes a woman from Trion listed as ‘Sherry C,’ alleging she forged her late husband’s absentee ballot in the 2020 general election.

Raffensperger says other noteworthy cases included people campaigning within 150 feet of a polling place, offering pizza and drinks to voters in line, late poll openings, and a Colorado man who allegedly paid for two sign trucks in the January runoff election with a promise of $1,200 for voting Democratic.

The Secretary of State says there was no widespread voter fraud in the election.
