Floyd County police have charged a thirty-six-year-old man with theft by taking in connection with an incident where the suspect stole $35,000 worth of lottery tickets from his employer.
Robert Francis Looney, Jr, of Silver Creek, was taken into custody over the weekend on a warrant that had been issued for his arrest.
Looney is accused of stealing 128 packs of lottery tickets from a convenience store on Maple Road where he was employed at the time.
