The Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about harassing text messages after a couple in Trion reported receiving the messages from someone in Atlanta.

The victims told a responding deputy that they had been getting the messages from someone using the Text Now App.  The couple reported that they believe the person sending the messages is called “Diamond” and that she was introduced to the couple by a family member.

According to the couple, the family member had visited a strip-club in Atlanta and the woman named Diamond gave him a ride to Trion and that is the only time that they have met her.

The sheriff’s department advised that the couple contact the Chattooga County Magistrate Court about the harassing messages.
