The Georgia Department of Public Health will expand its COVID vaccine eligibility next Monday, to include adults aged 55 and older, individuals with disabilities and certain medical conditions.  

This expansion now includes disabilities caused by an injury, or a disability due to illness such as ALS or multiple sclerosis. Some of the common medical conditions include:
Asthma
Obesity
Cancer
Diabetes
Heart conditions
and High blood pressure

Eligible Chattooga County residents can make an appointment at the Chattooga County Health Department to schedule vaccinations.
