The Chattooga County Extension Office says the Georgia Green Landscape Steward Program, created by University of Georgia Extension, is a certification program for businesses and residences in Georgia that will help landowners  implement sustainable green practices in their landscape.

Georgia landowners have a large impact on natural resources, such as water, wildlife, and native plants.

There will be a series of live, educational presentations on each component of the program offered and an opportunity for official signage for your accomplishment of being certified as a “Green Landscape Steward”.
