Chattooga Schools Superintendent Jared Hosmer has made the decision to release school early today due to potential bad weather:

After consulting with the National Weather Service and our local EMA Director, the decision has been made to release school today at 2:00 pm due to the potential of severe weather between the hours of 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm, which is when our buses would be en-route.  Please understand this decision is not made lightly, as our priority is to ensure the safety and security off all our stakeholders.

We will continue to monitor the weather conditions this afternoon and evening and a decision concerning school for tomorrow (Thursday) will be forthcoming later this evening.
