The Chattooga County Young Farmers Association held their banquet last week on March 20th. Several individuals and families received recognition during the banquet.

The banquet, which was held at Chattooga High School Auditorium, saw Garrett Hurley being awarded with the Young Ag Producer, North Region winner. Dennis McCary won Outstanding Member, with Jeff and Mandy Ward, along with daughters Emma Rae and Morgan, winning Outstanding Farm Family. Addie Bridges was awarded the 2021 scholarship.

In the photography contest Chastity Bridges won first place in the Human Interest. Gracie Treadaway won 2nd and Lisa Jones placed 3rd. In the Scenic Division, Kim Reynolds won first, with Brett Jones taking second and Julia Brinkley placing 3rd.
