A Chattooga County man was instructed on the proceedings of magistrate court and more, after receiving multiple harassing texts from his sons mother.

Chattooga County Sheriff Deputies met with Shane Wilson on Monday regarding a slew of harassing and violent texts he had been receiving from the mother of his son.

Wilson stated that he and Ashley Peace had been fighting for custody of their son, and Wilson had been awarded full custody.  While Deputies were speaking with Wilson, his phone kept ringing from a number identified as belonging to Peace. Multiple texts from Peace talked about “ending” Wilson and making other threats against his life. Peace had also sent texts to their son talking about “ending” and “killing” his father.

Deputies advised Wilson on the proceedings of Magistrate Court and on how to obtain a TPO.
