The first annual Plant/Seed Swap hosted by member of the Teloga Community was a definite success.

According to one organizer, Lacey Hames, the Chattooga County Animal Advocates have never raised as much as they did on Saturday.

The event was held at Teloga Springs Farm, and somewhere between 75-100 attended. The overflow parking lot had to be used and people were shuttled back and forth. There was a wide variety of plants, flowers, herbs, seeds, succulents, cuttings, and even a few rose bushes. The main idea of the swap was that all the plants and seeds were to be free.

According to Hames, It was a great day, meeting great friends and fellow gardeners. This will be an annual event.
