April Is National Child Abuse Prevention Month National Child Abuse Prevention Month recognizes the importance of families and communities working together to strengthen families to prevent child abuse and neglect.

On Wednesday Children’s Advocacy Center-Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit

Detectives and DFCS workers, as well as the District Attorney’s Office, local Sexual Assault Center and school social workers came out to help plant 260 pinwheels.

That’s one pinwheel for each child that was abused in Walker, Dade, Chattooga and Catoosa Counties!
