The Chattooga County Republican Party met for their annual convention last Saturday.

The meeting took place at the Chattooga County Ag Building on Middle School Road in Summerville.  Local Republicans elected delegates to the 14th Congressional District Republican Convention and delegates to the Georgia Republican State Convention.  Members also adopted rules for the local Republican Party and elected officers for the 2021-2023 term.

Eddy Willingham was re-elected chairman of the local Republican Party with Teresa Ray returning at vice-chair and Betty Brady as Secretary along with Meredith Paige Rosson as Treasurer.

The 14th Congressional District Convention will be held on May 15th at 10 AM in Dalton.
