A Summerville woman reported a theft of several household goods from in front of her storage unit this week.

Summerville Police Officers met with Christy Reed earlier this week regarding some stolen items. Reed stated that she was moving somethings into her storage unit and had left some items on the sidewalk while she left briefly to go pick up more items. As she has held several yard sales here in the past with no issues, she did not think anyone would take her items in the time that she was gone.

However when Reed returned to the storage unit, her totes of items were gone. These totes included quilts, antique glassware, crockpots, and several other household items.

Detectives are planning to review security footage to see if they can identify the perpetrator.
