A Chattooga County man was arrested by Floyd County Police on Thursday evening of last week following a traffic stop for a brake light violation. 

Floyd County Police stopped forty-one-year-old Gene Antonio Moses of Summerville at the intersection of U.S. Highway 27 North and Walenda Drive in Rome.  Moses was found to be in possession of marijuana and also a glass pipe that police say contained methamphetamine residue.

Two female passengers, twenty-four-year-old Lacey Janay Mote and thirty-one-year-old Sharleigh Ellena Watkins, both of Rome, were also found to be in possession of methamphetamine, according to police.
